About the Operations

Fredriksberg Laundry is facing an exciting phase of development where we will build a new automated laundry facility together with Region Värmland. Bergslags Laundry will move into the new automated facility in 2029.

Regionservice's task is to lead, execute, develop, and streamline service services together with operations within Region Dalarna in collaboration with the region's municipalities or through cooperation with external actors. We do this within service areas such as property management, food & meals, logistics, cleaning, and laundry. Regionservice has approximately 570 employees and generates a turnover of approximately 500 MSEK. The operations are quality certified according to ISO 9001 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14001.

Job Responsibilities

You will join an organization with a long tradition of service to Healthcare, Dental Care, and other core activities, where decision-making paths internally within Regionservice administration are short and where there is ample room for own initiatives. Your task is to actively lead and develop the daily production of the operations so that production goals are achieved in a cost-effective manner, with high quality and customer satisfaction.

You shall, together with your closest colleague manager, be responsible for and lead the laundry's employees in production, and you collaborate closely with the colleague managers within the leadership team. In your role as first-line manager for one of the production areas at Fredriksberg Laundry, you coordinate and develop the laundry's operations and service services with a process-oriented approach, with the aim of promoting core operations and the total group benefit. You report to the Production Manager and are part of their leadership group.

The assignment includes personnel and operational responsibility as well as compliance with given economic budget frameworks. In your leadership role, you also have responsibility for your staff's working environment and well-being, as well as a focus on their development, motivation, and ability to collaborate, and that everyone works based on the Region's values - Openness, Respect, and Responsibility. You also set clear goals and follow up on these.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Several years of experience working in a supervisory position in manufacturing production or alternatively operations that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience of personnel, economic, and operational responsibility.
• Upper secondary education or equivalent.
• Category B driver's license.

Merits

• Experience of working in public operations.
• Experience or education in logistics/planning, production, and/or technology.
• Education/knowledge in communication, leadership, labor law, working environment, and/or other experience deemed relevant.
• General computer knowledge, e.g., the Office package.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
